Would love to see the app be able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously or more so, be easily able to log in & out of your other accounts instead of having to delete the app, download it again then logging in to switch between accounts with ease. One account is used for a close set of acquaintances and the other account is used for another set of acquaintances that I do not want to have my main user account name & I like using a specific phone # for them too with the secondary account.

Works well and takes all elements of secure communication into account. This version is much improved and has lost the dropped calls and echoes of previous releases. Wish the was a desktop version so we could stop relying on Lync.

After I upgraded to IOS9, the app crashes as soon as you open it. Needs to be fixed as the app is completely useless now.

Silent circle and silent message not working with new iOS 9- I got a message saying its all migrated to silent circle+ but its not showing up in App Store! Loved the product when I could use it

App crashing with iOS 9. Update needed. Prior to this issue the app worked great, and I expect an update will return the app to full functionality. Hopefully it comes sooner than later since this is a subscription service.

Wow - so much went wrong so fast. Now, my customer’s proprietary messages show up as notifications for anyone to read over my shoulder. But that’s okay, since I can no longer lock the app itself. Nor can I use one account for business and one account for my personal life. Can’t send documents.. No secure contacts - they’re just gone, since I didn’t have them in my regular phone contacts. Because of SECURITY. I can’t set the burn to ‘never’, which means tracking every conversation and making sure I otherwise capture important information - in an insecure place. The encryption worked - but Silent Circle has effectively shut us out of an app that uses it. Bring it back, please!

The app on update crashed on launch, this is consistent with previous versions. Once the app was deleted and reinstalled it launched successfully. Unfortunately it doesnt accept the creds which are valid on the website. Im now left with no secure voice or text. Do you test this app or just ship it and see what happens? Most companies dont kill the old version until a sufficient time elapses to ensure things work. Boo.

Me and my business partner can neither call nor text each other. Can we please have our old apps please!!

The phone/text merge was a giant step backwards in terms of reliability and functionality. I cancelled my silent circle accounts and switched to Signal.

I really really want to love this but they just keep screwing it up. The latest version crashes every time you try to send a text. Silent Text was retired with no notice and merged it into Silent Phone. That would be nice...if it worked. Its been over a week since the update...no fix. If this was free I wouldnt gripe (much) but this is an expensive app.

I used to use Silent Text all the time (when it was still its own app). Now that they integrated it, they texts show up on the lock screen decrypted. Serious privacy leakage. Why pay somebody to "white glove" your communications when they are delivered to your lock screen unencrypted?

Ive long enjoyed my Silent Circle subscription but the merging of Silent Text and Silent Phone was a significant mistake (at least in the current development cycle). Major functionality is missing and the app is regularly unusable for me due to constant crashing. Ive been holding out hope of an upgrade but Im now approaching two months of paying for a broken app. Will be unsubscribing.

{latest update hasnt fixed whats broken & support hasnt replied to silent text messages for two weeks} My assessment, after two years paid subscription, is Silent Circle remains a functionally impaired communication service with low reliability (Not withstanding their marketing outreach). Frequent call drops, messages not being delivered and app crashes means this is a effectively a "vanity privacy service". One might enjoy some privacy- when the app is functioning- but to rely on it as dependable system for communication is begging for disaster to strike, as my team has learnt the hard way. It was one thing to slug it out as an early adopter two years ago (in support of a privacy focused company with Phil Zimmerman onboard) but this far along one expects some return on investment and faith. Unfortunately, Silent Circle has fallen short. This latest "upgrade" is a disaster, with functions removed and reliability going down considerably. You cannot depend on it. Period.

Voice recordings are no longer reliable, and often show as can not decrypt. I can no longer use it to send enclosure other than photos. I have lots my ability to to protect my contacts, and the loss of multiple accounts makes it impossible to use this without leaking my identity to my sources. The texting feature is only suitable for hobby use. The phone app work OK most of the time, for texting this app isn’t at all up to par.

Love the service love the app. Secure calls and text, great reception and fast connection. Encryption has never been so easy. Have been trying to update my CC info for a week and the customer service at SC is almost non existent. Wont answer, dont return calls, I finally talked to someone that was going to send me a password rest but never did. Now my billing is due and I cant change my info. Frustrating!

Yes, what happened to the passcode and sending files? I also want to be able to turn off read receipts. The old text message verification was much better than comparing the fingerprints. And the list of current text conversations are not color coded so they all look alike. I want to be able to choose colors to associate with my contacts. The grey text on grey background is not good. I remember the previous color scheme being much better. The flame color is also just a shadow of its former self.

If youre the kind of person that likes to know that your phone calls are only between you and the other person, then look no further! Ive been using silent phone for quite some time now and my experience with it has been fantastic. Silent Circle is the only company that has allowed me to share sensitive information over the phone in confidence that my line is encrypted and secure. The amount of minutes you get is well worth the price. But the peace of mind you get by knowing that your calls between personal or business is totally private is priceless. I dont know how I ever lived without it :-)

Cannot use on iPad Pro. With the keyboard attached, it is in landscape mode. Just not worth the aggravation to try to read the texts sideways. Please update.

Best software of its kind and I believe the company is credible. Give the support a chance they dont respond on weekends but they will help you if you need it.
